Rear View Mirror Plates
In automobiles and other vehicles, a rear-view mirror plate (or rear-view mirror) is a flat mirror positioned to allow the driver to see through the rear window of the vehicle (rear windshield).
In vehicles, the rear-view mirror is normally mounted on a double swivel mount at the top of the windshield, allowing it to be adjusted to accommodate any driver’s height and viewing angle and to swing harmlessly out of the way if a vehicle occupant is affected in a crash.
